Spiritual Rebirth at Skull Church and Luminate

“Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” ~ John 3:3

Skull Church is amazing!  It gives me goosebumps right now just thinking about the experiences I have had either sitting and listening or running with camera in hand to catch a shot.  The tears of joy from parents as they watch their children walk forward to the stage to accept a public  invitation to Christ, lost souls finding hope or the intensity of being wrapped in prayer at “The Watch” (check it out!) and last night was no different.  Levi and Jennie had just days before welcomed their fourth daughter to the world and it was no suprise that Levi found himself reflecting on childbirth and spiritual rebirth and the parallels between them.  With viewers from every state and around the world streaming live on-line and downloading podcasts, God is using Fresh Life Church in amazing ways and I’m proud to be part of it.

Luminate ~ Live at Skull Church

The word love is often used far too carelessly in today’s society. As a result, what once was the ultimate expression of affection and concern for another is now diluted. Tyler, Texas-based pop/rock act Luminate is on a mission to change that. For Luminate, love is an action.

“Love isn’t just a word we say to be cool and trendy,” says Luminate frontman Sam Hancock. “It’s an action that demonstrates the love of Christ. After all, Jesus didn’t just talk about love, He lived it through His actions.”

Hip Hop comes to Kalispell on the bus called Skull Church

I’ve always been kind of a classic rock, jam band, bluegrass kinda guy and I never in a million years thought I would say I loved hip hop.  That was until Reach Records recording artist Tripp Lee hit the stage at Skull Church on January 4, 2012.  He blew me away!  More passion for Christ than I had ever heard in music before.  Hip Hop has now found a genre on my iPod

William Lee Barefield III, better known as Trip Lee, was born and raised in Dallas, TX. As a young boy, Lee had dreams of being a professional athlete or famous rapper, and he began to hone his lyrical skills at the age of 12. “I rapped about random stuff…how hot I was, how many girls I could pull,” Trip says.  But upon giving his life to Christ, at age 14, his focus changed from fortune, fame, and women to serving and ministering the Gospel.  (from Wikipedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trip_Lee
